About

Aisling is an experienced pianist based in Limerick. She received a first class honours BMus
Degree from the Cork School of Music, where she studied performance under Eleanor Willis
and Nicholas O’Halloran. As part of her BMus degree, Aisling studied a broad range of
subjects with a particular interest in pedagogy, accompaniment and music therapy.


During her time at MTU Cork School of Music, Aisling gained significant experience in
accompanying a range of vocalists and instrumentalists. She was also a member of the equal
voice choir Cappella Lyrica, who competed nationwide in choral competitions. The choir
were awarded 1st Prize in the National Church Music Competition in 2016 at the Cork
International Choral Festival and 1st Prize in the National Female Voice Competition in 2017
at the Derry International Choral Festival.


As a teacher, Aisling understands the importance of adapting music education to suit each
student’s needs and always strives to encourage her students to reach their full potential.
Aisling joined the teaching staff at Limerick School of Music in 2019 and teaches Piano,
Theory, Musicianship and accompanies the LSOM Choir.
