About Our Classical
Guitar Course
The Classical Guitar department at Limerick School of Music has a well-established reputation as one of the finest in the country. Guitar students at LSOM are given a firm grounding in all technical and musical aspects of their chosen instrument.
Playing with others is a key part of the education delivered to guitar students at LSOM. All enrolled students take part in the LSOM junior or senior guitar ensembles, studying a variety of repertoire from numerous time periods and genres.
Students are also provided with numerous performance opportunities throughout the year as well as competitions, grade exams and diplomas.
