Piano Course

There is a long and proud history of piano teaching at Limerick School of Music. There are regular concerts and masterclasses both in the school and at outside venues, and there is a full programme of events for students throughout the academic year. Our students are regular participants in local and national music festivals and many of them go on to a career in music. Students are required to have access to an acoustic piano for practising, in order to take piano classes at LSOM. Electric and electronic pianos and keyboards are not considered to be adequate. Students also participate in musicianship classes and Piano Clubs, which are small group lessons where the students explore the many-faceted and exciting world of the piano.
